The building itself was built as
a Walk-Up style Dairy Queen
of the 1950's - early 1960's.
The Milan Dairy Queen store was
owned by J C Huntzinger for 12 years.
On September 1, 1976 Bernie & Isabel
Dioguardi would become the new
owners of the Milan Dairy Queen. The
Dioguardi's would continue to own
and operate the Milan Dairy Queen
for the next 40 years. Milan Dairy
Queen became a landmark on Route
66, serving Grants & Milan.
